When DPS Noida handed us 42 classrooms with a six-week window before the new session, the constraint was never manufacturing capacity — it was site access and sequencing. The school was still operating, so every delivery had to land in a two-hour window between the last class and the security lock-up.
We pre-staged everything. Desks were flat-packed in numbered kits, one kit per classroom, so the install crew never had to sort components on site. Each kit carried a room label that matched the school's own floor plan, which meant a three-person team could turn around a full classroom in under forty minutes.
The result was zero missed handovers and no stored inventory clogging the corridors. The lesson we carry into every large rollout since: the factory is rarely the bottleneck. Plan the last hundred metres — the loading dock, the lift, the corridor — and the rest follows.
